Memory T cells are antigen-experienced, long-lived cells that develop from naïve T cells after a primary interaction with an antigen. These cells mount a quicker and more robust response upon a subsequent encounter with the same antigen or pathogen. Cells are sourced from healthy donors from world-renowned blood institutions using Institutional Review Board (IRB)-approved consent forms and protocols. Donors are screened for HIV-1, HIV-2, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, human T-lymphotropic virus, syphilis, Chagas and West Nile virus.
